Age: 27
Gender: Female
Personality:
"God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him."Appearance:~Friedrich Nietzsche
Luka's personality is difficult to describe. She is both apathetic and extremely emotional, the problem comes from their reasons. She laughs at people's jokes, she feels anger when others annoy her, she even feels disgust depending on what it is. However when it comes down to it, she never hesitated in her work. She treats the dissection of human like it was as normal as it would be in a Biology class. Some might state it is her rationalistic ideals that got in the way but she is an empiricist by nature.
Many times she is troubled by her own nature. She questions why she is so callous towards others, in some ways she even fear herself. It is so very difficult for her to categorize inhumanity and limits. Dehumanization was not necessary as she never had problems with doing what she was told. Her goals always remained the same, to understand what it means to be truly human.
Luka doesn't care much for her looks. She is always a workaholic. Her eyes would often have sacks under her green eyes, she is almost always seen in uniform. Her black rimmed glasses are simple and fit right over her eyes. Her long auburn hair is often uncombed and a mess. Her skin is quite pale but it still appears a more natural tint than one due to her nature. She is relatively tall for her gender, finding herself at five feet seven inches. Her weight is on a low side at 132 pounds.Desired Position: Doctor
Diagnoses: History:
Luka was born and raised in a standard household of a father and a mother, both worked almost everyday. She spent most of her time studying, feeling that it was the least she could do to pay back her parents. From a young age, she showed a high aptitude for science, especially natural science. She always scored high marks in subjects relating to this matter. It wasn't long before she dream of becoming a doctor one day. Her reasons was never to save lives but simply because it was a way of living and wishing to advance the field.Additional Comments:
Her first realization of of herself was during the time when her mother fell ill when she was in middle school. At first she felt pity and sadness for her ailing mother. However the emotions soon stopped. It troubled her to no end on why such a thing was happening. It came to the point where she forgot the reasons why she began to think in such a manner. It wasn't until her mother truly disappeared from the world did she realize it. She felt no human connection a normal person would, the most her emotions allowed was sadness towards the fact that a potential was lost to the world. It faded soon after the funeral.
She kept her thoughts to herself, finding it best that no one should know how she was. Luka feared the consequences of her thoughts. She continued her life as before, taking her spare time to study towards in on psychology to figure out her own problems. Her father was strong, he didn't succumb to his wife's death and he didn't bother to remarry. Life seemed to remain the same for many years to come.
She excelled in high school and managed to go to a prestigious medical school. She was welcomed with open arms and her dream became close to realization. Her nature continues to elude her but with her goal so close she pushed it to the back of her mind. To say the least, she had a far easier time adapting compared to the rest of the students. Whatever she was asked to do, dissection, examination, etc. she would do easily and efficiently like taking apart a machine. Her teachers were impressed by what they thought was a sturdy nature.
After graduation she quickly found a job as a doctor. However her fortunes seem to end when the hospital she worked at began to fail. It was then did she get an offer that changed her life. She accepted a job to a new facility not completely sure what the concept was at first. She was guaranteed that she will be helping science in her decision to join and the pay didn't seem half bad. After her arrival, she found herself thrown into what most people consider inhumane, disturbing, and wrong. However all she saw was potential and did whatever she was told. It was strange in some ways, she socialized with the patients knowing what they were there for. At times she even met them on the operating table. The only emotion she felt was regret for destroying a potential from the world.
This was a way for my little scientist to rationalize her cruelty. Yay! :3... Or is it?
