Age: We grow at a pace so slow it has only just passed seventeen years.
Gender: We understand we are female though it matters, we know not.
Personality:
We feel sadness and despair. We dance with wolves throughout the night and live the world by fire light. We scream his name at half past three. We wake in the darkness to nothing we see. Our tears are kept within their cage; our fears are buried in our rage. The outside noise rumbles in our head. There are no controls; just beat it dead. We listen to us and only we for we know right for all of thee. We do not trust these infidels. They give us trouble and all but hell. We cannot listen to all that is spoken. We are nothing. We are broken. You speak; you plead; you show your sin. We wait; we watch; we shall win. We watch the walls as they speak to us. We hear the voices of the wind's gust. We don't enjoy the confusing reign of the children who call out our name.
Rowena is not necessarily stubborn as hard. She tries to be difficult, but collapses in on herself very easily. She likes things to be her way, though does not exactly how to enforce them. Though she will fall back in lots of cases, once she hits her breaking point where she has collapsed back so much that she cannot consciously ascertain that she even exists as a person, she snaps into a small kind of rage where she lashes out at others who are around the ages of thirty through forty. Some people she will hurt more than others because they have a more physical or mental resemblance to one of her parents.
Rowena suffers with Dissociative Identity Disorder which is what Multiple Personality Disorder is now known as. She refers to herself as “We” rather than “I” and “Us” rather and “Me”. She honestly believes now that she is not an entity herself but several being locked in one place. In this, she does not like to be referred to as “she” or “her” because that insinuates that she is indeed one being. When she is referred to as “Lisette”, her first name, she goes straight to her breaking point because that is what her parents called her.
