So, my Dr. Evan needs a twisted love plot >=3 This can go one of two ways.
What I'm thinking is it being another Doctor who is on par with his genius level brain, therefor earning his respect. Then, after a while, he starts lusting after her (or him.) So they start hooking up for the sole purpose of -cough,cough-. Anyway! So This goes on for a while. Then his partner gets in some trouble, and Evan helps them out before realizing that he is actually falling in love with this other Dr.
OR!
It can be a patient that has very little wrong with them and is up with his genius level brain. He starts experimenting with her (or him) and starts lust after them. So, whether they consent or not, he would have his way with them. This patient would likely become either very attached or very afraid of him. Eventually, he would start keeping the patient for himself, berating the other doctors if they dared to touch them. His experiements would then shift to helpful ones, rather than his usual stuff. After all of this, the patient would get either attacked by a lusty soldier or experimented on by another doctor and would run off, crying and scarred. Dr. Cross would find them, and at that point, admit his true feelings for them by simply kneeling down and hugging them, holding them close until they felt better.
