Well! Here is how this works! This is our first Zombie-a-thon! What is a Zombie-a-thon you ask? A Zombie-a-thon is where we infect other sites with our virus! Well, its not a virus, its actual a fungi.
You have ingested the spore of the Ophiocordyceps camponoti-balzani from some freak accident at the testing facility. Not just the regular form of Ophiocordyceps camponoti-balzani, its a new strain of it. This strain affects mammals instead. It turns out that there was a recessive gene that was brought on by a mutation in the DNA. It is only in a few specimens of the fungi that was found on the island. Now that the fungi started to prosper in the wonderful, spring weather, the mutation is being passed on to more and more of the fungi.
The wonderful scientists and doctors of Nethering's have gladly taken you into the Testing Facility, where they put the spores into you. Why would they do this? Obviously because there is a war going on in the mainland and they needed a new ways to get a foot up in the battle. Zombies were just the way! You were released to Ward C and kept in a nice cell so they could study your reactions to the fungi.
Now that you are, for sure, infected, you are being released into other parts of the internet! That's right! You are finally free! The zombie fungi will control you to stumble into other sites and release your spores there.
For every 20 sites that we are advertised on, you will get a zombie badge for in their profiles and mini profiles! The top "Zombie" that infects everyone else will get a US $2 bill like the one pictured below (but without the signature and note on it, :
When will the the spores be terminated on the island? I'm estimating that the cure will be released on 4/22/2012. After that, the infection will cease to haunt you.
